Iguassu Falls
Breakfast. Morning transfer to the riverport to board boats outfitted with the necessary equipment to enjoy a whole fishing afternoon on the Paraná river. The main catch here is the Dourado - known as the Tiger of the Paraná and yet other catches like pintados, pacus and so on. Lunch in a specialized fish restaurant on the banks of the Paraná River. In the afternoon, a visit to the Brazilian side of Iguassu Falls. Late afternoon return to hotel. Dinner is on your own. Overnight at the hotel.

Day -
Iguassu Falls
Breakfast. Morning visit to Itaipu Dam and transfer to the Itaipu Reservoir to board boats outfitted for a whole day fishing. Lunch will be served. Different fishing. The catch here is the Tucunaré Cichla Gender - a typical specie of the Amazon basin not very wisely introduced here, but it offers fishers a thrilling experience, anyway. Late afternoon return to hotel. Dinner is on your own. Overnight at the hotel.

What to bring:
T-shirts, long sleeve shirt, tennis shoes or hiking boots, hat, jeans or tracksuit, sunscreen, mosquito repellent, binoculars or scope, field books, camera and film. Sweatshirt or jacket recommended in May through October.
Important:
The new rules and regulation from the Official Navy Department demand that every passenger boarded in a boat needs to be in a passenger list containing full name, date of birth and nationality. Otherwise the transportation company will pay a fine and might be stopped apprehended, delaying the regular transfers. Please inform us your details when of your booking request. |
