A vast extension of low lying-floodplains, former natural bed of the Paraná River. That’s the Iberá Natural Park. The animals observed here are basically: broad snout caiman, capybara, dear, howler monkey, and dozens of species of birds such as parrots, parakeets, storks, egrets, hawks and others.
Esteros del Iberá are in the province of Corrientes, Argentina, about 400 km south from the Iguassu Falls and 150 km from Posadas. In the center of Iberá there is a natural reserve, where the small town of Carlos Pelegrini is found. The access is by an unpaved road (120 km); it is a base of some hostels where visit starts.

1 Day - Iguassu Falls

Reception and transfer to the hotel.
Check-in and accommodation.
Dinner is on your own.
Overnight at the hotel.
 
2 Day - Iguassu Falls/Esteros Iberá

Breakfast.
Early in the morning departure to Iberá (400 km).
Through the province of Misiones, the first stop will be to visit the semi precious stone mine.
After a 2 hours trip, visit to the jesuits ruins of San Inácio Miní.
Lunch at Estancia Santa Inês.
We continue on to Ibera, the last part of the trip will be in off road vehicles (110 km).
Arrive to the lodge at the end of the day.
Check in and accommodation at Hosteria Ñande Retá (rustic hotel infra-structure).
Dinner and overnight at the lodge.
 
3 Day - Esteros Del Iberá

Breakfast.
Full day of discovery in the national Park.
Lunch and dinner at the lodge.
Nocturnal departure to cayman spotting.
Overnight at the lodge.
 
4 Day - Esteros Del Iberá

Breakfast.
Full day of tours to observe of local wild life – horse ride, trekking and boat tour.
Lunch and dinner at the lodge.
Overnight in the lodge.
 
5 Day - Esteros Iberá / Iguassu Falls

Breakfast.
Full day return trip to Iguassu Falls visiting the provincial Park of Salto Encantado where in midst of the jungle there is a beautiful waterfall.
Short trekking.
Lunch.
Visit to a mate tea processing plant.
Arrival to Iguassu at the end of the day.
Check-in and accommodation.
Dinner is on your own.
Overnight at the hotel.
 
6 Day - Iguassu Falls

Breakfast.
Half-day visit to the Brazilian Falls.
Check-out and transfer to airport.
