The adventure begins with embarkation from Porto Meira (Iguassu River, Iguassu Falls, Brazil) in a 40-passenger capacity yacht endowed with a cabin, a covered deck, a sun deck and an American bar. From Porto Meira the boat navigates a section of the Iguassu River passing under the Tancredo Neves Bridge (Brazil - Argentina) and in front of the Landmark of the Tree Frontiers, where an excellent view of The Americas Space can be had. The Americas Space is a project of the government of the State of Parana and was planned as a center for large- and medium-sized events.
The structure, built in the contemporary style at the exact spot where the Iguassu and Parana Rivers meet, provides another post-card view of the region.
Going down the branch of the Parana River that is predominated by the famous "Dourado" fish, also know as the "Tiger of the Parana", the passenger can enjoy the beautiful riverside scenery of rocks and vegetation typical of the region while the crew serves Brazilian cocktails made from local fruits - a success among foreigners, generally lovers of a good "caipirinha".
Bertoni Museum
Upon arrival at Puerto Bertoni on the Paraguayan bank of the river, passengers disembark for the second stage of the excursion. A hike on a trail through the forest (one of the magic moments of the excursion) leads to the old Bertoni family installations which have been transformed into a museum.
Personal objects, family furnishings, hundreds of books edited by the scholarly Swiss, machines and working objects and photographs among other historical records of the passage of Moises Bertoni through the triple-frontier region can be found there.
