After a 30km drive off the north coast, you will arrive in the environmentally protected region known as APA (ambiental protection area) Costa dos Corais. You will stop in Paripueira, the first urban marine sanctuary of Brazil, host to a manatee refuge and the world’s second largest concentration of natural pools and coral reefs. Paripueira Beach offers a variety of activities including a ride to the natural pools under the supervision of a biologist and a beach water-aerobic session.
