After a scenery drive, you will arrive in Piaçabuçu located at the southern end of the state of Alagoas, where you will take a pleasant 40-minute boat ride on the “Old Chico” river up to the delta. One of the great attractions is to walk up the dunes to then let yourself slide down on to the river. This area is an ecological sanctuary for marine turtles and migratory birds.
