Localization:
The lodge is located on the Mamirauá Reserve, which is the largest protected flooded Forest in the world. It protects a rich ecosystem with some endemic and threatened species. There are about 35 species of mammals, 360 of birds, 79 reptiles and more than 300 species of fish.
Várzeas are forests flooded by white water rivers, that flow from the Andes and are rich in nutrients (like the Amazon River). These flooded várzea forests have great environmental importance, since they are habitat a variety of species that are adapted to the flooding regimes. The Japurá and Amazon (or Solimões) rivers are natural boundaries to the Reserve.

The lodge has 10 comfortable, simple and ample (25m²) apartments. Each one has its own terrace, bathroom with hot water shower, two single king size beds. The apartments’ windows have nets and the roofs are covered with thatch. All apartments have a view to the forest from the terrace.
Activities:
Leisure infrastructure is composed of interpretation and observation trails, and also a structure built inside the forest for photographing and observing animals.
