Day -
Manaus / Amazon Rainforest
Transfer from airport to lodge with reception and accommodation in chalets.
Reconnaissance tour through main infrastructure lodge.
Dinner.
Night jungle trek.
Overnight at the lodge.

Day -
Amazon Rainforest
Breakfast.
Morning jungle trek with emphasis on the Ecosystem by showing diversity of trees and plants.
Lunch.
After lunch departure to one of the survival camps.
Dinner.
Nocturnal trek.
Overnight at the camp.
Alternative: Second jungle trek with emphasis on survival and navigation. Night is spend at the lodge.

Day -
Amazon Rainforest
Breakfast.
Return trip from survival camp.
Departure Amazon River trip. Bus will drive you to southern extreme of lodge (approximately 40 minutes) where a canoe is boarded. You will visit the highlights this region has to offer.
Lunch is served in the floating observation station of the lodge.
Giant waterlillies, dolphin spotting for the grey and pink dholphins, birdwatching, fishing on piranha and catfish completed with alligator spotting in the early evening.
Return to the lodge.
Dinner.
Overnight at the lodge.

Day -
Amazon Rainforest / Manaus
Breakfast.
At 7h30, transfer to Manaus, including the Meeting of the Waters sight.
Transfer pier-airport, with a short outside visit to the Opera House.

The package includes:
Boat transfers Manaus / Amazonat / Manaus, all meals, bilingual guide and activities described in the program.
Not included in the package:
*Beverages;
*Personal expenses or extras; and
*Tips.
What to bring:
Light weight pants, T-shirts, long sleeved shirts, shorts, bathing suit, extra socks and underwear, sandals, good walking and/or old tennis shoes, windbreaker, sun hat, flash light, non-electric razor, sun screen, insect repellent, binoculars, camera, film, extra batteries, small first aid kit.
We also suggest you bring some cash to pay your extra expenses as several lodges do not accept credit cards.
Important Remarks:
1. The below mentioned rates are per person and valid until December'2010.
2. This package is not valid during Christmas, New Years, Carnival and Holidays.
3. If you have extra luggage left in Manaus, please keep your guide informed when of your transfer to the lodge.
4. The new rules and regulation from the Official Navy Department in the Amazon demand that every passenger boarded in a boat during transfers in the Amazon River needs to be in a passenger list containing full name, date of birth and nationality. Otherwise the transportation company will pay a fine and might be stopped apprehended, delaying the regular transfers. Please inform us your details when of your booking request. |
