You will be picked up at your hotel to reach the Tropical Hotel Pier or Manaus Harbor. You will leave, in a speed or regional boat, for a tour by Negro River, passing by Manaus City, following to the famous Meeting of Waters, where rivers Negro and Solimões meet together forming the Majestic Amazon River. The highlight of the cruise is, of course, the fabulous science-defying phenomenon of the Meeting of the Waters where, due to the difference in density, velocity and temperature, the brown-coloured waters of the Solimões River and the black-coloured waters of the Negro River meet but do not mix until a number of miles further downstream. You will stay at site for some minutes to observe this nature's phenomena and eventually some river dolphins.
Then you go bound to Janauary Lake, where you will taste a lunch with Amazonian specialities at a Floating Restaurant. After lunch you will walk over a hanged catwalk that will take you to know the exuberant Victoria Regia (water lilies). On a motorized canoe, you will visit small creeks (igarapés), flooded jungle (igapés) and some river channels (paranás) that link Negro river with Solimoes river (depending on level of waters), with an amazing beauty in its different and exuberant forms of jungle flora. Return to your hotel.
