Cuiabá - Poconé - Pantanal
Transfer from Cuiabá airport (or hotel) to Poconé (around 3h30 to 4h00 for this transfer).
Arrival at Caranda Farm (approximately 50 Km from Poconé), check in and accommodation.
Dinner and meeting about the program.
Overnight at the farm.

Pantanal
Breakfast at farm.
Discover the property on horseback or hiking, to know the real Pantanal with its flooded areas.
Lunch, dinner and overnight at the farm.

Pantanal
Breakfast at the farm.
Departure heading southwest to the margins of Bento Gomes River, approximately 27Km on a 5 to 7 hours horseback ride, crossing of the river and arrival at São Cristovão Farm.
Cowboy stile lunch on the way.
Check in and accommodation at the farm.
Dinner and overnight.

Breakfast at the farm.
Departure by horse through 11 Km towards Transpantaneira Park Road arriving at Bela Vista Farm.
Cowboy stile lunch on the way.
Follow by safari vehicle to Passo da Ema Runch Lodge.
Check-in, Dinner and overnight.

Pantanal
Exploring the surroundings of the Bugio reserve, witch can be explored by horse only or by combining trekking and horseback riding.
Lunch.
In the afternoon visit to the observation tower at Araras Eco Lodge Dinner and overnight at Passo da Ema Runch Lodge.

Pantanal - Cuiabá
Breakfast at the lodge. Morning transfer to Cuiabá's airport or hotel.

Important remarks:
1. The below mentioned rates are per person, based on double room occupancy, and valid until December 2010.
2. This tour is accessible only from July till December yearly.
3. This package is not valid during Christmas, New Years and Holidays periods.
4. The activities described may be altered due to weather conditions, season or group make-up with the intent of maximizing your experience of the eco-system.
5. The night of day 5 can also be spent in a still further down Camp, the Jaguar Camp, where guest will have the opportunity to sleep in 'old days style', i.e. in a teatch roof camp and in hammocks with mosquito netting. On the way back to the lodge there will be time for a good shower and changing, before departing to Cuiabá airport.
Included in the package:
* In and out transfers to Cuiabá;

What to bring: T-shirts, long sleeved shirt, sneakers or hiking boots, jeans or track suit, hat, sunscreen, mosquito repellent, binoculars, flashlight, camera and film. Sweatshirt or sweater recommended from July to September.
We also suggest you bring some cash to pay your extra expenses as several lodges do not accept credit cards. |
