Gateway South Pantanal> Campo Grande> Bonito. - Since the early 1900's, some traditional cattle raising families in Bonito pioneered the conservation of nature in this exuberant region. And now one of the region's young agronomers has translated his passion for Nature and Sports together with his family's tradition of excellence into Serraventura Ecotourism. This dynamic concept in tourism features a rustic cozy lodge and an opportunity to engage in trekking, mountain bicycling, and sky sports like paragliding and hang gliding.
Located 51 kilometers from Bonito in Brazil's western frontier far away from conventional tourist infrastructures, Serraventura can accomodate up to 26 people with personalized care and attention.
Guests will delight in the peace and serenity of the Pé da Serra Inn, decorated with Native Terena Indian arts and crafts. The charming Inn serves delicious regional dishes, such as carreteiro rice with dry beef, succulent chicken cooked with bacury palm hearts and, of course, barbequed beef staight from the farm.
