To stay at Pousada Porto Paraty means to relive important moments of the city history. It is an authentic 18 th century colonial house sheltered initially a busy Arabian market where the Minas Gerais gold was sold. After that, it became the first theater in town; finding, later, its natural vocation as the first Inn in Paraty. The entire property is decorated with very good taste. It has 51 rooms and presents a winter garden with exotic plants. The Pousada Porto Paraty has also a chariot used for tours through the historical lanes of the city. This service is available during the week except on Mondays for the guests and it is free of charges.There is no private parking area in the property but there are some of them very near with reduced prices.
