Teresópolis Golf Club was founded in January 5th'1935 by Mr.Arnaldo Guinle, Mr.K.Hugh McCrimmon, Mr.Armando Vieira, Mr.Carlos Guinle, Mr.Raymundo Otton de Castro Maya, Mr.G.H. Neele and Mr.Lineu de Paula Machado among others personalities from Brasil high society.
The objectiv of the thirteen associated-founders was to provide the practice of sports, such as golf, tennis, swimming, horse riding and polo.
The field was designed by no other than Robert Trent Jones.
The field has two outs in each hole what allow us to play 18 holes.
The Teresopolis Golf Open Championship is now worldwide famous and their members are wonderful hosts. The exact dates are not defined yet but it usually happens in August.
