Ciranda' is a ring dance where male and female participants alternate joining hands and practising different steps accompanied by the sound of a poetic, musical repertoire and an ever present drumbeat. The festival takes place on Jaguaribe Beach on weekends throughout the month. Each group puts on a thirty- minute presentation, attempting to qualify for the grand finals on the last day.
