About 180 km to the east of Rio de Janeiro. It is on a peninsula extending into the Atlantic ocean with 23 beaches. Today Buzios is the meeting point for upper class Brazilian holidaymakers, as well as many foreign tourists. At night the town sparkles as all the beautiful people compete with each other for attention.
Buzios has a very active nightlife, with shows, nightclubs, parties, restaurants and bars for all tastes. By the way, the Buzios nightlife is a feature in itself. The central point is Rua das Pedras, a charming and eclectic street, where it is common to run into famous people and hear foreign languages all over the place.
The street is a little over 1200 feet long, but it is a charm laden from one end to the other. If it were not for this street, Buzios certainly would not be the same. Restaurants serve dishes with all the gastronomic accents. Charming bars with live shows - some facing the ocean - invite you in to sit and appreciate the action. Art galleries, stores selling national and international brands, many pretty people and sun tanned from the beach all year long complete the scenery.

Day -
Rio de Janeiro / Buzios
Transfer from your hotel in Rio to the Santos Dumont Airport where you will embark for your weekend adventure.
You will board a TEAM airplane for an approximately 25 minutes flight.
Arrival in Buzios Airport, welcome and transfer to your hotel.
Enjoy Buzios night, your hotel is one block far from Rua das Pedras and you can not loose the opportunity of experience such a great night!
Buzios is a real paradise for those who appreciate good cuisine. There are French, Italian, Moroccan, Thai restaurants, amongst others that serve their delicacies for most demanding tastes. The reason for such diversity is the quantity of foreigners who came for a few days, fell in love with the city and stayed. From aboard, they have brought their flavors and secrets. The main dishes in the local cuisine are fish and sea-food. After all, Buzios has its origins as a fishing village and is surrounded by beaches on all sides.
Most of the restaurants are at Rua das Pedras, of course, like Cigalon (sea-food with French touch), Chez Brigitte (grilled fish and sea-food), Au Cheval Blanc, Sawasdee (exotic tastes), Patio Havana (a mix of whisky bar, wine cellar, cigar humidor, patio and bistro), Estancia Don Juan (excellent beef cuts from Argentina) and Chez Michou (crepes).

Diving in Ancora Island.
A must is to visit the Ancora Island, only half an hour away from Buzios, by boat, where the average visibility is 40 feet and can reach 80 feet during summer. The Ancora Island, which received this name because of its shape, offers shelter from the wind and currents. Here you can see corals, many fish, including monkfish, jewfish, anchovies, barracudas and even green turtles.
Duration: approximately 4h00.
Departures: daily at 10h00 from downtown pier, at the end of Rua das Pedras (4 blocks far from the hotel).
Lunch and afternoon are on your own. During the day, the best is to nibble at the beach and eat at the kiosks and bars located there. Most of them serve anchovies, plates of shrimp and squid fished that same day.
The left corner of the Ferradura beach has several options: try the crunchy shrimp pastries at Samucas Bar.
At the Tartaruga beach, the Tartaruga Bar serves the same kind of food. In the city, the most seeked out is Boom. Working on pay per weight, it offers good food and a real nice atmosphere. There are also restaurants that serve the so called Buziano Artistic cuisine. It is honest, good and cheap food.
At Geribá try the Barbado and Gaivota. In the middle, the Davi and Parvati are also cheaper options.
Another relaxing night at Rua das Pedras is all you deserve! A place where people feel free and time is not noticed. A place where gastronomic, music and film festivals are held periodically.

Azeda Beach - Samll beach with calm and crystal-clear water. You get there either on foot by a small trail that begins in "Ossos Beach" or by boat.
João Fernandinho Beach - Small beach with calm and crystal-water. Near the popular João Fernandes Beach with many bars where you can enjoy lobster and other great seafood. You can´t miss it.
Ferradura Beach - A beautiful horseshoe-shaped bay, with calm, crystal-clear water, served by numerous picturesque bars serving typical "Buzios Style" meals and drinks.
Geriba Beach - Wonderful open beach, frequented by many beautiful and famous people. Perfect for practicing sports like surf, moreyboogie and windsurf.
At 17h00, transfer from the hotel to the Buzios airport.
You will board a TEAM airplane for an approximately 25 minutes flight.

Rio / Buzios - on Fridays - leaving at 20h00 and arriving at 20h25

*Luggage limit - 10 kg per person.

1. Check-out time is midday. From this time and until your departure, you can use the hotel storage room or negotiate with hotel for a late check-out (according to hotel availability). Meanwhile you can go for last minute shoppings or relax by the pool.
