Rio de Janeiro
Breakfast. Golf at Gávea Golf Club - from 8h00 till 12h00, green fee and return transfers included. The Gávea Golf and Country Club is in São Conrado district and set in the middle of a couple of Rio style mountains and a half hit sand iron away from the beach it‘s probably one of the most expensive bits of real estate in the world. A breathtaking experience that you don‘t have to be a golfer to appreciate. The architect of the course was the Scotish Arthur Morgan Davidson. A par 69, it‘s a relatively easy course with a few tricky entry shots and no extra long holes. The course has a total of 18 holes in 5911 yards. 14 of the holes go around the clubhouse and the other 4 run along the beach on the other side of the road from Rio to Barra. The 4th, a par 3, as well as being a beautiful little hole, has a fantastic view of the course, breath deeply and focus on the game it‘s quite easy to be taken away by it all and if you miss the green left it‘s a long way back. If you see two nesting "quero quero" birds on one of the latter holes don‘t get too close they‘re little but valiant and will advance! Lunch is by your own - the hotel serves a very nice buffet by the pool restaurant. Experience the pleasure of seeing Rio best view side by side with the Christ statue! It is really a worthwhile tour and you can also go up mountain in a historical tramway through the luxurious Tijuca Forest! Dinner at Mariu's Barbecue House where you will be introduced to the Brazilian barbecue and to our style of serving it. Overnight at hotel.
