While in Rio escape one day to paradise. Take a fullday tour to the village of Itacuruçá, located 1 ½ hour south of Rio de Janeiro, with its simple houses of fishermen.
The Saveiro, name given to this typical boat that looks like a schooner, cruises the Sepetiba Bay, an area rich in natural beauty, where it is normal to spot a flora and fauna. If you are lucky you ca even see dolphins and parrots!! This is how ten out of ten imagine paradise. And in fact: It looks very similiar.
We hopp on the schooner and on we go. A stop is made for a swim and then the saveiro continues to the island of Itacuruça where a delicious lunch self-service buffet will be waiting for the visitors. There will be a time to explore the Island before returning to Itacuruça.
